It has been brought to the attention of the Western Springs Little Lead Board of Directors that beginning with the 2019 season the Western Springs Park District will be charging a "User Fee" for all programs using their fields. We oppose this fee and have expressed our concerns to the Park District that the amount discussed is not something we can currently absorb with our current registration process. WSLL would have to increase our registration fee to our members to cover the additional cost. This extra fee would be used by the Park District to cover their cost of mowing, watering and fertilizing the ballfields. The user fee amount is not yet finalized, but the ranges discussed were between $30 to $75 per player. The WSLL Board encourages all who are interested to attend the next Park District Board Meeting to express their opinion (they are all open to the public), it is scheduled for:
